Mike is a Realtor, Licensed Real Estate Appraiser and life-long resident here at Smith Mountain Lake.

Mike grew up on a tobacco farm in Franklin County (which he calls God’s Country) that became waterfront property when Smith Mountain Lake was formed. Watching all of the changes through the years he saw the opportunities that were coming to his hometown. He obtained his real estate license and joined his wife, Sylvia, in selling real estate in 1989.

In 1990 Mike decided to expand his knowledge about the local real estate market by becoming a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser. Over the years he has become well-known and respected in the real estate market on and around Smith Mountain Lake.

Mike now works as a Realtor, with his wife and children Matthew and Amanda, as part of “The Pagans Family Team” and as an Appraiser, with his son in their self-owned and operated Real Estate Appraisal business.
