I then became Communications Director for the American Red Cross. I moved into education until the desire called me to return to Real Estate once again. Matt is a native of Smith Mountain Lake and is both a Realtor and a Certified Real Estate Appraiser.

After obtaining a Bachelors at James Madison University's College of Business, he came back home to work in the family business as a member of the top producing Pagans Family Team.

My family and I vacationed at Smith Mountain Lake for 25 years before we finally heeded the call to move here.
